About Kirti College
A legacy of excellence in the heart of Mumbai
Deccan Education Society’s Kirti M. Doongursee College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Dadar (West), began as Bombay College in 1954 — its foundation stone laid by Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve. Renamed in 1960 in a ceremony presided over by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the college today offers a multi-faculty Junior College, undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes.
